Spotlight Media LLC ("Spotlight") is a creator marketing agency. This platform coordinates creator campaigns for the brands we work with: creator applications and deals, content review, payments, and paid amplification of licensed creator content on TikTok and Meta.
From creators: name, email, phone, TikTok username, shipping address for product sends, campaign deliverables (video links), and signed agreements. Payout details (bank and tax information) are collected and held by Stripe, our payment processor - they never touch our servers.
From brands: business contact details, campaign requirements, and - only when a brand explicitly grants partner access - access to their Meta ad account and Facebook Page for the sole purpose of creating and managing the ad campaigns they request and reporting performance back to them.
Standard technical logs (IP address, browser type) are kept for security and troubleshooting.
To run the campaigns you are part of: matching creators to briefs, reviewing and approving content, paying creators, invoicing brands, publishing brand-approved ads from licensed content, and reporting performance. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Meta or TikTok data for anything beyond operating the services the brand or creator asked for.
When a brand connects their Meta assets, we access them through Meta's Marketing API strictly to create ads the brand requested (always created paused, activated by the brand), read performance of those ads, and display that performance to the brand. Ad account data is never shared with other brands or any third party.
Service providers that operate the platform: Stripe (payments), Railway (hosting), email delivery providers. Each receives only what it needs. Campaign deliverables are shared with the brand that commissioned them.
We keep records while an engagement is active and as long as required for legal and accounting purposes. Data deletion: creators and brands can request deletion of their personal data at any time by emailing sam@tryspotlight.co - we will confirm and complete deletion within 30 days, except records we are legally required to keep (e.g. tax records of past payments). Disconnecting Meta partner access in your Business settings immediately ends our access to your ad account.
